A once in a lifetime experience
This audiobook shook me for months. It happened to me as a freshman in college after the very unexpected death of a sibling. An unlikely angel helped me up when I fell apart and in time, we fell in love. I will never be the same. I’ve listened to this amazing story many times and it will always be close to my heart. The narrator is outstanding too. Thank you Harper, for all the love and emotion you poured into this book. ❤️

I wasn't sure I would be into this book, because of the subject matter. If it hadn't been included in the group of books I purchased, I may have missed out because of my internal bias. I have trouble with age gaps in relationships, but have truly enjoyed every age gap story I've read from Harper Bliss so far (to my surprise). With the added twist on this storyline, I had convinced myself it wasn't for me. It is written with such grace and emotion that I absolutely adored the story and these characters. The novella at the end is the icing on the cake. I think Harper Bliss is eating away at some inherent biases I've had for a long time. It's never too late to grow and I'm certainly letting go and opening my mind. Beautiful story.

Emotional and Informative
What can I say really - this book is amazing. I do not know how Harper makes it seem like all these people are real and I know them all personally. I know no asexual person but it is easy to see that it must lead to a life that would be difficult for them and their partner. Besides that, even with all the happy endings her books provide, they always bring tears to my eyes and that is something that rarely happens and reinforces the belief that I, too, am human.
