Once in a Lifetime (AUDIOBOOK)

Great story of how love finds a way even with real life obstacles. The narration was a bit difficult to follow. I hard a hard time knowing who was who at times.

I really enjoy all the characters and how they come together and show up in other books

I am a great admirer of Harper Bliss, have read a large number of her books and both enjoyed and admired them. However when, as in this book, she strays into the area of highly descriptive BDSM it’s simply not for me. Sad to say I gave up on this book.

This review is 4 stars because I was disappointed by Laura Jennings’ narration. Because the character voices didn’t change, it was hard to follow and know who was actually talking. Also because s&m isn’t my cup of tea, it was rather uncomfortable to listen to the intimate scenes. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the characters, especially Troy. Breaking up because you and your partner want different things in life is difficult. Time and space will change people - in this case, for the better.

Since picking up And then she kissed me, I have read 16 Harper Bliss novels in 2 months! They are such a joy to read, with Harper love always wins. Sapphic novels and movies these days always have bad endings, but not with Harper. Thank you so much for lighting my flame again.
